As pet owners and pet lovers, we aim to provide the best possible care for your furry friends –– including once you’ve made the difficult decision such as euthanasia. When the time comes, our in-home pet euthanasia services offer a comfortable, compassionate, and humane end-of-life experience for your beloved pet and your family.

Before the visit.
We recommend choosing a quiet spot where your pet can feel relaxed and at ease during the process. You can also gather their favourite toys and snacks to make them more comfortable.
Our process is designed to minimize discomfort for your pet; that’s why we choose to administer a sedative and provide pain relief to ensure a pain-free and stress-free experience for everyone present.

During the visit.
Upon our arrival, we’ll go over the in-home euthanasia process with you and answer any questions that you may have about what’s about to happen. Only when you’re ready will we proceed with the humane euthanasia process as agreed.
The pet euthanasia process is quite simple and happens quickly. It involves administering a special euthanasia solution, which will cause your pet’s breathing and heart rate to gradually slow down and stop –– usually within seconds.

The final goodbye.
After your pet’s passing, we understand it can be difficult for you and your family. With this in mind, we allow you to spend time alone with your pet to say your final goodbyes.
We also currently offer various aftercare options, which you can choose from in advance to ensure that your pet is treated with dignity and respect.
Aftercare & Pet Cremation
Losing a pet is never easy, and the grief of euthanizing a pet can be overwhelming. At this challenging time, our aftercare services can give you peace of mind that your pet is in the right hands.
At Fur Ever & Always, we offer several options for aftercare that you can choose from depending on your preference:
Pet burial
If you choose to have your pet buried at home, we advise that you follow your local council regulations to ensure that they’re laid to rest in a safe and appropriate environment.
Pet Cremation.
Alternatively, we can also organize the entire aftercare process for you. After your pet has passed, we will take them with us on the day and have them collected by Edenhills Pet Cremation
Here, you can opt for communal cremation –– where your pet will not be returned to you –– or private cremation, where you will receive your pet’s remains within the following days.
Eden Hills offers various pet cremation packages to suit your needs, and we can always help guide you through the process and help you choose the best option for your pet.
Grieving after pet loss.
We deeply understand that the grief after euthanizing a pet can be complicated to manage –– that’s why we’re prepared to offer different options to help you and your family cope with your loss.
In addition to our aftercare services, we can also provide resources and support to help you deal with this grief; we can recommend counseling services and grief support groups, or provide you with dedicated literature on pet loss and bereavement to help you carry this weight.
